hey guys
I grabbed myself a new winter beater / daily driver & I wanted to spruce up the sound a bit, as well as add navigation and dvd
I'd like to have GPS when needed, DVD's would be nice, I do plan to add XM.
the truck is a 2006 Silverado ext cab, no steering wheel controls, no XM or OnStar

any thoughts on the Kenwood DDX7701HD ?
it seems to have the features I need / want, but it seems iphone friendly, I have an android

Pioneer AVH-X5600BHS any thoughts on this one?

for installation

the ipod cable would be this one? 113KCIP202 ?

I couldn't find the listing for the mounting brackets/dash plate or wiring harness

Go with pioneer! I have had a avh-4400bh in my 03 since the day the double din came out. It has been the best investment I have made. Installation was easy but I did have to break the back plastic where the stereo goes so the double din can fit. Some say you dont have to do that but I couldnt install it without doing that. I have never had satellite radio but I do have bluetooth on my double din and stream tons of music from my phone including pandora and spotify. If I was you id get the avh-x4600bt over the 5600 and save 100 bucks. Only difference is hd radio. I have hd radio on mine and to be honest have NEVER used it.
