Default 2004 denali?

I have the stock bose 9 speaker set up in my denali? Does anyone now what this intales? How many amps, and do this amps have a gain on them? Also i bought an after market flip down dvd player from Tweeter(audiovox) and was wondering if anyone has installed one before for some tip's. There is only five wire's to deal with and two are for the overhead lights> Last ? can you interface the sound through the stock system? Thank-You, could use the advise!

well i have done a 2001 denali (assuming it is the same as a 2004) and it had one factory amp behind the glove box. i dont think there is any adjustments on it though. As for the flip down screen it will depend on if you have any rear a/c controls or rear vents in the roof. If not then remove your factory dome light and mount it there. Then the screen becomes your dome light (which is what the 2 overhead light wires are for) and the other 3 wires should be ground, constant 12 volt, and switched 12 volt. havent put an audiovox in but have put several DEI flip downs in and they all interfaced wirelessly through an fm station through your speakers. i am guessing yours is the same considering there are only 5 wires in the plug. make shure you secure the screen to a main support brace (probably the B pillar brace accross the roof) if this brace is wierdly shaped (new ford expaditions) or too far back then plywood can come in real handy..........

If you have an 03+ your Amp and Woofer will be in the center console...

Also, like said above, 1 wire will be 12V+ Constant, 1 will be 12V Switched and 1 will be ground... If you can give me a model number I can help you out in addressing the audio...

Are you sure its not the DT85? That Model Number (DS85) shows up as a Docking station for the DT85...

If so, then the Screen has built in speakers right? It should also have a 3.5MM jack in the rear of the screen... You can buy a 3.5MM to RCA cable... This will have the 3.5MM Jack on one side and RCA's on the other... From here, you have 3 options...

You can,

1. Buy a wireless FM transmitter that you hook up using the RCA's and it will transmit the audio Via a Radio Station wirelessly and you can install this on the roof along with the screen... No need to even touch the radio... This is a cheap and simple way of doing it... Only downfall is quality sucks...

2. Buy a Wired FM transimitter that you hook up using the RCA's but, it goes Inline with your Antenna... Example, You unplug your antenna from the radio, then plug it in to the transmitter, then you plug the transmitter, into the radio antenna slot... This, works the same way as the wirelesss, you use a station to get your audio... This works a little better than the wireless but audio is still a little bad... Its more involved but the better sound is worth it...

3. Buy an Aux Adapter for your Radio... This will allow you to hook up the RCA's from the Screen directly to your radio... Usually you scroll through your Sources until you get AUX... This will give you the best sound... It involves running your RCA's from the Screen, to behind the radio...

And depending your Vehicles year and Options, this is what the last one looks like...
