rickjamesCC,
You've done an excellent job of executing the Double DIN radio installation and documenting the process with pictures. I did something very similar with a Kenwood Head Unit/GPS/HD FM/Backup Camera on my 2000 Yukon XL in the spring of 2009. I also added an inverter in the console. I'll take a few more after pictures and start another thread one day soon. One difference on my installation is that I reused all of my 2000 dash parts rather than go to the newer factory parts.
Again, excellent job sir!
All my best,
Steve

Thanks alot guys for the compliments I tried to put as much information up as possible for everyone, I got the lower drivers dash panel last week, fit like a champ, ebay $37.00 was cheaper than driving back up to KC I will have to include that I did space my radio bucket and headlight control switch bucket out about 1/4" so there would be no gaps you guys are smart I am sure you will figure it out I tied to do it the factory route as much as possible I hate rigging things, it always come back! On a further note I bought the sirius SCC-1 for my clarion and installed it yesterday (took longer to activate than install) sirius comes no where near XM radio avoid sirius has good clarity but XM has better channels unless you are old then power too you!
