Default 12 volt switched 2010 silverado

key on 12 volt switched. adding amp, stock head unit. i know there isn't a 12v switch at the head unit, or the fuse box on the drivers side.

column perhaps? any idea's would be nice.

Kind of a blurry picture, took it before I knew my camera had a macro feature... Should be able to see where to put the wire though. Its under the little square cover to the left of the brake pedal.

in the box that smokeshoe showed in that pic under the dash, should be a green, or grey plug on the left side and it should have a few small pink wires coming out of it i believe. 1 of those should work. but there so small you might have to run a relay just to be a safe side

I was going to say, I know there is a prong in the fuse box to the left of the brake pedal that is tied to the vehicle RAP system. That's where I have mine ran to with the exact setup that was mentioned.

or you could run a PAC -AOEM-gm1416 module which is a plug and play unit that will give u will do the same thing and is alot easier to install

I like using add-a-circuits in the instrument panel fuse in the passenger compartment as a turn on source.

the yellow wire on the green plug is a key switched acc trigger.
