Default 12" shallow mount recommendations

I've been looking around at subs the past couple weeks and haven't really got any closer to making a decision on what to buy. I don't have the time/skill to build a box so I need to go shallow mount. I have decided I want 12's but unsure which ones. I've looked a lot at the kicker cvt's, but there's a bunch of mixed reviews, then I started looking at Rockford p3's but then started looking at Memphis....

So come on stereo guys what's your pick of the shallow mounts? Not necessarily these listed either, if there's something else thats about the medium quality shoot. I'd love to buy top notch but right now it's just not feasible with Christmas coming up.

Ok as shallow mounts go stay away from kicker they are the worst ive heard alot of shallows and the one thats worked better for us is the pioneer they hit the hardest and responde better to alot more frequency .

I think the CVT has way more Xmax than the Pioneer, so given same power, the CVT should out perform the Pioneer.
I'd say CVT.

The Rockford pre-loaded box is the ****. My buddy has one and it's lightweight, beats hard, and has no flutter. I have a new 12" Memphis power reference and it sounds good too.

I've been thinking a lot about the Rockford p3. I've heard regular p3's and they sound damn good. I was looking at the sub thump box. Is it a good one?

Damn that box looks sweet haha I think I may go ahead and go with it and the 12" p3's. I hope to get this all set up in the next 2-3 weeks.

Thanks for the input, and thank you smokeshow for teasing me with that pic hahaha
