i have a dilemma. i have an ext cab nbs and and don't know whether to run 1 or 2 10". i thought of building a custom single or dual speaker box but you can almost buy them for what you would have in materials and time in it. I listen to rock(alterbridge, shinedown, etc) and alot of country. but basically anything that sounds good. not much rap though, so i don't want window rattling bass. i had a single 10" in my single cab and it sounded amazing, but would that be sufficient for the added cab space of the ext. let me know??

 

I would do 2, I used to have some wiring problems and was only running one of my tens and when i got them both hooked up on the same channel even, it was a substantial difference.

If you have the space and the money get 2, you can always turn it down to your preference.

 

^agreed...get the 2 sounds more full inside the vehicle...n2m if you got only 1 & regretted it...i would say it would suck more to have to put another 1 in rather than to take 1 out & just cover the hole on t he box

 

if your going to build everything go for 2! with the price of audio stuff these days its not that much more! and like stated before it sounds better!

i got 2 12" subs under the back seat, i don't listen to much rap either, but i've been very happy with the system.
