Default 09 CC - Can I add a Bose Sub

2009 CC with Factory head unit - non Bose - CD/Sat radio etc....
I picked up a OEM Bose sub unit - never installed - OEM over run
it is for 09, 10, 11 etc...
Is the truck prewired for the subs pigtail?
Will it work with my head unit?
Where does this thing mount?
Thanks for the advice - Much appreciated.

Im not 100% sure about this but i dont think you have a pigtail for it if your truck didnt come factory with the bose unit but i could be wrong. Did your truck come with a full floor console from the factory? if so i dont see a problem with mounting it but as far as the harness goes i dont think it will work.....ill let someone else give you a def answer tho

The truck has a center console between the seats. Flips up and is a center front seat
Rear is a split and both rear flip up
I am just not sure where it mounts and if I can find a pig tail for it.
I would think GM would make one harness vs several
Hopefully it will work - or I can make it work

Im not sure thats going to work. The Bose systems have seperate amplifires for their speakers. The sub you have would connect to one of these amps to then power its self. Plus the base factory radios don't have sub outputs. You could probably buy a seperate amp to push the sub but you wouldn't be happy with the sound compaired to just buying and installing an aftermarket amp and sub.

It wont work too much work for way to little gain. Build a box add a amp and 10" or 12" sub or two and then rock on with an ear to ear grin when you hit the volume.
