Default 06 power seats in a 02????

I found some power leather seats out of a 2006 sierra crew cab. I want to put them in my 2002 sierra crew cab. I'm certain they will physically bolt right up, but, does anyone know how to make the power buttons work in my 02? Mine is full power but they changed the way it is hooked up since then. something about the BCM. I don't care about memory seat or heated seat. as long as the power seat part works i'm happy.

Has anyone personally done this mod?

OR has anyone put 06 seat padding on 02 seats and had them covered in leather? that might be easier since I'm getting new leather regardless.

hmm, ok, i'll try to find diagrams. i'm told the memory and heat in the 03-up are controlled by the bcm.
