I didnt say it was impossible. Just important. You would likely have less issues with a 6 bolt block. We all know youre trying to proove something, and youre doing a great job, but c'mon... think of how much easier it would be with a 6 bolt combo.

If travis makes big power he should be looking at 2.125 at minimum for primaries
Also fender exit style to help his combo flow

I have run into issues a few times with my 6 bolt heads.

Just picked up a set of 2" for my ss sedan and asked them to mock up on 6 bolt head, they said there was clearance but im still skeptical. Should know soon enough.

At what power level is a 2" primary beneficial? I was told by several engine builders and even my tuner (Blackbear) that until my 6.2 is FI to not even bother upgrading from 1 3/4 to 1 7/8, that I would lose power.

Hey Steve, I'd love for you to confirm these do indeed fit with 6 bolt heads with no modification. I had small issues with the 1 7/8" now.

In my opinion , if your going to stay N/A , then i wouldnt even think about 2" primary headers , 1-7/8 would be plenty adequate for your needs . Especially with the square port heads , i wouldnt want to chance losing any bottom end , im not saying you will but its likely . But i would def put 1-7/8 on if your your going FI. My two cents.

With the blower crowd , we need to get that exhaust out as fast as we can , which 1-7/8" headers will do just fine , but im not taking anychances , for about the same money i want big tubes , im not at all worried about losing bottom end , ive got plenty , i need mine to breath better top end .
I never realized how bad my 3.5" exhaust and small headers were killing my truck , and she still made great power . But 15-20psi back pressure at WOT is killing it , time for a total exhaust over haul , and ill start with 2" tubes .

There have been 6.0s that ran hard and made more HP and TQ with 2" primaries
Redsled is just one example
Lil red is another truck with 6.0 that ran hard with 2"

The flange is the same... but that's not the issue.
Can you call us so we can resolve this issue, we have a set of 6 bolt heads here from Wixom.
