After my last experience at the track, with all the bouncing and hopping and spinning, we decided to send a stock rear shock to Strange Engineering and have them make a pair of custom rear shocks for the truck for us to test out. Will post pics and results as soon as we ge them! The water pump seems to be holding up just fine so far, I will be hitting up the track this Friday again to do some top end tuning, just gonna roll it out off the line for now.

What is the max safe psi level for 93 octane No methanol injection? 5-6psi? With a good tuner of course lol. I have a buddy wanting to sell me his TVS 1900 supercharger 20K on it for $3000. The truck is my dd and I dont want to run methanol. It's not a track truck just a mustang killer

I can beat gt's but not the new 5.0s with my head cam swap need a little more

It is made by PRW and costs $380, this should (hopefully) do ths job now, and no more slinging water pump pulleys...

That looks awesome. Moves more water and is more efficient than the factory unit? Does that mean less drag on the belt? Sounds like a great idea with an OD balancer.

Yes, and so far it has been working.

Glad you are happy slow2008!

New shocks installed today, definitely made a huge difference with the bouncing and hopping problem and helped traction a good bit as well.

New rear shocks. Anything to address an adjustable front coilover?

I love this build

Mike, how do you like dailying the truck with the drop leaf springs? I've always been skeptical about them being too bouncy (which I've noticed you've commented on prior to new shocks). I'm considering a set to get to 5" with a drop shackle because my only other alternative would be flip kit with a hanger lift and I'm trying to avoid cutting the rear hangers off.
