So I got around to ordering my tune from Charlie and he delivered big time. Before the tune the truck ran good but it was obvious there was alot left on the table. Torque management was killing my top end as well as not being able to know exactly where the trans would downshift and so on. Also had some shifting issues that Charlie said he might know what the root was. Long story short I got the tune and swapped PCM's and its like owning a new truck. There is no hope for the rear tires from a dig. It runs and sounds so much better its unreal. I actually wound up running an 02 Mustang GT last night from a 20 roll and raped it like no other. We wound up at the same haunted house and we talked while we were in line. Turns out its got shorty headers, catted true duals, CAI and a programmer. He said when he rolled up he thought it was just another 5.3 Silverado with loud exhaust lol. He said when I nailed it he knew he was screwed. I immediately jumped out a truck length ahead of him and kept putting lengths on until about 105 when I let out. Im amazed at the things Charlie can do to a truck with a tune. If you read this Charlie thank you again and give me a call when you get free, Ive got a couple questions. Youve got the number. That and a cam are the next mods lol. Ive actually got a local guy that builds transmissions that built the equivalent of a FLT Level 5 4L65E for a friend of mine and he is going to do one for me. He has practically guaranteed 600rwhp out of it. He uses the same parts and even offered to let me stand there and watch him build it. He said he stands behind his work no matter what so Im gonna give him a chance. That and he's making me a killer deal on it. If it doesnt work out Ill be calling Vince for a 4L80E.

Yes sir! Youre part of the reason I decided to go with Charlie. Watching the vids of your truck on YouTube made my mind up. I dont think Ive ever seen a truck like yours run so smooth considering the cam thats in it. Thats just proof of his ablilty. After the first of the year when I get my trans Im def doing a cam swap and Ill be calling Charlie to hook me up then as well.

 

When you get the cam,we will be mailing you some logging software,along with a wideband!!
