Thumbs up Wheatley Tune- Another Satisifed Customer!

Just wanted to post about my good experience in dealing with Charlie Wheatley.

I took advantage of Charlie's special and ordered a 93 octane tune from him.

After working out the details, which really was me asking about 20 questions, in which Charlie answered everyone of them, I ordered it and it came all the way from TX within a few days. I installed it this past Saturday, (nice long weekend to enjoy it!) and even had a question that I called Charlie about, and he immediately returned my call.

Initial response was WOW! The truck's responsiveness is incredible. it has power all the way through the RPM range now, unlike before. I think I was running a little rich before, but now, this truck is right on!
It pulls hard from go and keeps pulling hard to that nice crisp shift from 1 to 2then does it again through 2nd into 3rd.
The real test will come Saturday when I take it to the track. I ran a 15.3 two weeks ago, before the tune, but I hope to get well into the 14's, around a 14.7 is my guess.
But I have no doubt the tune was worth every penny, and even if I fall a little short of my goal, which I doubt, it's still worth it as the truck is actually fun to drive now!
I originally wanted to get a dyno tune, but honestly, with only an intake and exhaust, I couldn't see spending over 500 bills on something that I got just as good with Charlie's tune for well under half that cost.
If anyone is on the fence about doing this, do it! It'll wake your truck up and turn it into a beast! Cheap mod with big return!!!

Many people said Charlie was a good guy, and now I believe them(not that I didn't before). Good product, good vendor.
Thanks again Charlie!

I like you also took advantage of the special and I'm very happy. I had the hypercrapper on the trans only before and the shifts now feel a bit softer but It pulls harder through the the shift, meaning it used to shift then a slight delay I'm assuming due to tq management now it just pulls! Only one complaint!! I didn't get the sticker I asked for!!! What's up Charlie?? LOL.

Still lovin mine. I wouldnt run the time I do without it. I had the hypertech before also, and this is night and day compared to it. Also, the better gas mileage is a plus also.

I'm sure I'm getting better gas mileage than before. Prior to the tune, I was lucky if I was getting 12mpg, and that's with rural driving. I don't know what it is now since I don't drive the truck that much, but I notice the gauge ain't movin' too much.

And what's this sticker you speak of...??

I doubt you'll be getting a 14.7 with your mods. Id say like a high 14.

I like my tune very much, aswell as other freinds that have, it its truely is a night and day difference and it turns your truck into a beast especially on the highway.
