I have 1 7/8 texas speed and my drivers o2 is so close the heat sheild has scratches from where it touches

 

I am starting to feel this way my self. I ordered headers, a dod delete kit, and a vvt delete kit over a month ago. Not only has it not shipped yet, but other than the initial email they sent saying they got paid i have had zero communication or responses to questions. Zip, Nada, Nothing.

 

I would assume that the reason for the dod delete kit is because they don't have camshafts, or at least they didn't last I checked.
Cam cores are unobtainium at the moment.

 

I already have the cam, I got the kit with no cam. Hell I already had the lifters, just need the 3 bolt sprocket and cover stuff.

Texas speed already has my money. And I don't mind waiting for parts, I just want to know if it's a back order or what's going on.

 

Ok, so updating my position on this. If you try to contact them via email or other electronic means you get no response. But if you pick up the phone and call them they are very nice, friendly, and helpful. My order is held up because the headers are on back order. They were able to give me an expected arrival date of June 9th, and even agreed to ship the rest of my order out to me so I can get to work while I wait on the headers to come in. They did not charge me for this.

This is only about the customer service. I have not received any parts so I cannot speak to quality yet. Also, with speaking with the customer service rep she did confirm that these headers are made over seas.

 

Yeah, we knew that based on the price. I don't know what they are now, but 6yrs ago when I bought them they were ~$440, which is just too cheap for American manufacturing

 

The $140 upcharge going from 1 3/4" to 1 7/8" primaries is laughable.
