If you guys want a drone free system, look into a Borla ProXS. They're not too expensive and are the quietest free flowing muffler on the market, bar none. It may be too quiet for some folks. I love it on my truck, turn downs and all.

I've been really happy with the large dynomax mufflers. My 2500hd doesn't have cats and with just the dynomax it's very quiet inside and it has a decent tone outside.
I've been using them in alot of LS swaps with vibrant resonators and they are very quiet.

Just get the Kooks, they fit perfect, sound geart are made of good material and are made in North Carolina. All the extra time dicking around with the cheepos destroys the price point in my opinion.

I tell you what, since you seem to not be on a limited budget like I am, how about you donate a set for my truck. I'll front the labor cost and we'll see if they fit my particular truck perfect or not. I don't have 1800 just lying around, just for a set of headers.

Yep, made in Statesville. I think they are the unofficial "nascar" headers. I had one warp a tiny bit and they sent me a new set.

I'm sorry, I wasn't aware that Texas Speed parts were made overseas. Excuse the **** outta me. My bad for just assuming they were made here since the company is right here in Texas. If I would have known this prior, I probably wouldn't have gotten them because most **** made overseas is exactly that, ****.

It's ok man, you're allowed to vent. I know your frustration. But buying American doesn't exactly make things automatically better: I bought TPS exhaust for my C5. American made 1 7/8, off-road X, 3" all the way thru: and they don't mate up perfectly and my mufflers are crooked AF. I need to cut and weld the right side.

It's your money, you're welcome to spend it and be upset when it doesn't meet your expectations.

So if you don't pay for the most expensive of something, then its your fault?

AND he paid for a set of headers and pipes that were supposed to fit on his truck.... and he didn't get what he paid for. (EDIT this out, because I'll try to make a better effort). It sounds like you are trying to.. "money shame"...

EDIT: Keep in mind this is a 15-20 year old pickup. I can buy a used running Silverado for the same price as those headers that cost 2-7 times as much as every other version of em.

What you said sounds like "Your takata airbag blew up in your face while you were driving and caused you to get into an accident, quit your crying, what did you expect when you didn't buy a Rolls Royce Phantom?
