Talking STS Turbo Rules

Back in August 2006 I decided I wanted to turbocharge my Trailblazer SS. So, I called STS Turbo to see if they had anything in the works. As luck would have it they had already sent a few kits out to be coated and were looking for people to install them on their trucks. So I put my name on the list and eagerly waited. Well, I am glad to say that my truck is now up and running great.

Recently I know STS took a beating on this forum, so I wanted to tell my story. I couldn't be happier with how I was treated by the guys at STS. Rick has been fantastic to work with, and has shown great patience in working with me as I figure this whole turbo thing out. He even gave me his cell phone when I told him I was doing the install myself so I could reach him on the weekend if any issues popped up. On top of that he repeatedly worked with me to get the tuning right so the truck was driveable the day I finished the install. The customer service has been some of the best I have ever experienced.

Their product finish is 2nd to none. Even as a preproduction kit, everything bolted right in. If I had any questions about the instructions, Rick was always a phonecall away.

Bottom line is I wouldn't hesitate to do business with STS Turbo. I can assure you any time I plan on going FI with any of my vehicles in the future, they are going to be my first choice. Something about a grocery getter than destroys the tires in 1st and 2nd gear just makes me smile.....

Ditto on everything! The weakest link in my STS system is definetly the rest of the truck. Well I should specify the tranny and the tires first and foremost. curious what bashing you've read on here? Haven't found much negativity except for one guy had a boost problem?

Yes I read the thread you are refering too, I wasnt involved so I am not commenting on that. However what you described is great, It was cool of him to provide you with means to get ahold of him after hours should something arise. That is what I call good support and it is nice to hear of a vendor doing so.. Good Deal guys.
