General warning folks -- no band wagoning or hearsay posts. If you have a beef with a sponsor on something YOU own, post your own thread.

That's what I asked Andy on the phone after he said "your either too hard on the truck, or it was the tune" that is when I reminded him I got the vac mod as they suggested.

i would still like someone smarter than me to answer that question. being a mechanic i would say abuse at first also. but knowing that the stock one lasted as long as it did that almost rules that out. then i would blame it on the charger but the second lvl 4 broke behind a stock cam bolt on 5.3. knowing a little more about your truck my next question would be could it be your gearing? it seems that 3.23's would be harder on the driveline vs 3.73's or 4.10's. i also know you didn't build the truck with those gears. i know it is luck of the draw with 60e's. i am sure mine is on borrowed time. i wish you the best of luck getting your truck back together. if i can help any just let me know.

so i thought the reason u buy an FLT is so u can be hard on the truck... that doesnt make sense to me. so if u drag race ur truck FLT voids the warranty? whats the point of getting a FLT then?

They only want to sell you a Lvl 5 with billet shafts even on a truck with a wore out 5.3 with Headers, and a CAI.

I do have to admit they did not the warranty but I did have to pay some money and shipping both ways to get it fixed before it was over six months old. Then the second time it was less than two months after they rebuilt it but more than six months from when I bought it. Then Andy told me the only way Chuck would rebuild it again was Lvl 5 with billet output and it would cost $2250 to upgrade to it. I asked how much to build it back to Lvl so I could try to sell the truck or something, and that brings me to this point, never heard back.

They should atleast build it to a level4 for a small fee and tell you this is the last time we fix this trans, since for some reason they are breaking in your truck.
At least you could sell the FLT and not be 4 grand deep in built trannys
To me that would be the fair thing to do!
