I talked to Randy last night and he said judging by how your truck feels, you better leave the mustangs alone and go after the Kia Rios

Alot of factors in the equation. Year model being one of the most important. Manual trans vs auto, gears, tires, etc. I've seen mustangs on the street that could run 11s and some that couldn't touch 15s.

It'll beat a 95 mustang smokin its *** off down the track..

I seened it too!!

Or maybe he just blew it up tryin to run you down??

Seriously though, 95's and early 96's had the 5.0 block like the earlier fox body's. Very easy to make fast. If I bought a mustang it would be a 95.

96's was first year for the 4.6, from 96-98 they were turds! the 5.0's in 94 and 95 for some reason didnt run quite as well as the fox body's. My parents have a 96' 4.6 and a 88' 5.0 both automatics, and the 5.0 with over 140k made and *** out of the 4.6 with less than 10k when it was new. the 5.0 was damn near a second quicker and both stock. The '88 also had 2.73 gears and the '96 had 3.25's.
