This is a beautiful 38 foot hustler with twin blown 500 hp motors capable of going well over 100 mph on the water. It belongs to a freind of mine and this is what happens when rednecks get board!

I can here the conversation now....I have a knee board in the truck you wanna try it behind your big ole boat??

The boat would do 98 mph on just motors..Since he added the Chargers he has broken 100 but untill it cools off a bit we want know what the top end is. The thing rides like a caday out in the gulf. cruising at 85 in 2 to 3 ft seas is awsome!!!!

along with what everyone else said...its for weight distribution. think about how much weight those two motors are, and they are put on the very end... then the power they put out from a punch. on a short boat they could literally flip it without any weight on the front.
