I dunno?! I never foud anyting that looks like a pistion although I haven't dropped the pan yet. All that in my had, I scooped out of #7 then there is the debris that you see in the pics on #8. If you look at the third pic down, it looks like the wrist pin laying back behind the broke rod.

It was only a 100 shot. Totally safe for a stock motor.

For now I am going to have to run my current stock/transgo/servo tranny so I am going to have to take it easy for a while with the new motor.

For those curious of what will be replacing my fubar motor, I will be going with a stock LQ4 shortblock with new aftermarket bearings and rings, mildly ported 241 heads, FMS F10 cam, Cometic .040 head gaskets and ARP headbolts. Everything else will get swaped over from the 5.3.

241 heads? Are those 5.3 heads or the old iron 6L heads or.......

241 = latest ls1 casting. I am getting a really good deal on a ported set. With the 66cc chambers and the .040 cometic gasket, it will put my cr ~10.25:1.

Reminds me of mine, but I didn't have to pull the heads to reach in the block lol. And I was missing two pistons
