When I break something, I break it good!
 
Pulled the the heads off yesterday to see what the problem was. Much to my supprise, the head gasket looked great. But look at what I did find in the #6 cylinder: :eek:

I did not see any signs of detonation in any of the other 7 cylinders so I am guessing the rod just couldn't take it any more, broke then slung the piston into the wall punching a hole in it. It did it's duty with 120K hard miles though so I am not complaining.

Damn Kennny. Looks like someone dropped a grenade in # 7. I guess you won't be using that block.

Man how did that happen.... Is that what happened when you tryed to keep up with quicksilverado at the track :jest: . Sorry to see that happened man if you need a block I still have my 4.8 short block for sale. Good luck
