Default what tools

do i need to do a cam install do i need that jpr tool from TR and that valve spring compressor to from TR. I also bought a ported ls6 oilpump so i have all the parts necessary but i dont have all the tools.Also how hard is it to do?

Action has everything needed to do the swap. That's the route I'd go if I were you. Just watch him do the swap, and you'll get a good idea on what's going on for future projects.

set of metric deep and shallow sockets. spring compressor, pully puller, assembly lube, torque wrench, oil, filter, 200 bucks. i think thats all. look at this it'll tell you what i left out... www.ls1howto.com
