Default What a day

Well my new years started off like crap.

1. Went to the airport to pick up my GF and of course they lost a bag.
2. The one bag that did arrive was torn in half and TAPED back together. The airline said that there was nothing they could do, basically the risk of air travel equates to a risk of damaged luggage. I argued and yelled but nothing happend.
3. Then on the way home I set the cruise control to 70 and next thing I know I am getting pulled over, I was in a 60 so I was thinking no big deal. Then the dick of a cop said I was doing 85!!! I said no way I had the cruise set on 70. He did not care and my GF kept saying why are you lying, Yeah she actually said that to the cop.
4. As I am driving home I set my cruise on 50 in front of the cop just to be a dick, cause he could not get around me cause of the traffic, (little payback). then he turns off so I start to speed up, but the speedo stays at 50 no matter if I speed up or down. Even when I as at a stoplight the speedo says 50. So I was thinking coool! I can get out of the ticket cause my speedo is broken and still under factory warranty!!!!
5. later on that evening I go to the store and my speedo is working again, so I am probably going to have to battle the dealership to get a replacement.

Do yall think the judge will dismiss the ticket if I have proof that is was broken and replaced by the dealership?

And a judge will tell you that any responsible driver should be able to tell the difference. (don't ask how I know )

I just went to go to the store and the speedo is not reading anything now, it is just ticking.....

Yeah I actually thought something was wrong when I was driving to the airport. I just figured that my TC was not locking for some reason. But it really started acted up immediately after I got my ticket, and my cruise was set on 70. Not to mention I was keeping up with traffic and the cop even said when I was arguing that the car in front of me was doing 83 and I was doing 85 so i got the ticket. I really don't care if they don't drop the ticket, I even told the cop i was doing 70, I would be happy if the judge would give me a ticket for 70 in 60 rather than 85 in a 60.

And no I did not even think I was doing 85.

My speedo is doing the same thing, I've read about sooo many doing this! GM really needs to have a recall. I got pulled over doing 79 in a 55, my speedo showed 45 which I knew had to be off!
