Default Well SHYT

I had to give my helper a ride home today, and while going across the bridge had to get on it (as much as you can get on a 4.8) to pass some big trucks. It took the usual 3 seconds, kicked down a gear and slowly accelerated (4.8 remember) My helper made a comment about what size my engine was. (He rode in my Z71 once, but with the swampers, TB verter, and stock cam) Made me remember, when my Z had the small street tires, it would have got sideways, left a couple of black lines, and gotten sideways climbing the bridge. The Phantom is still in the front of the house, but now I want another toy. I gotta let this one go, but may be looking for a 99+ after the '76 is running for another toy. Come to think of it, with my plans for my '76 it may turn out to be more of a toy than I was wanting/expecting.

I originally just wanted something I could cruise on the weekends, and hit the car shows, that looked good, sounded good, and was pretty with the hood open. Planning on running a 5.3, shaving the heads, bout a 224/226 cam on a 110LSA +4*, Vic Jr injected intake, and about a 32-3400 stall, true duals with LT's and Quickflow mufflers and 3.73's. Got to thinking today, it may be a little more fun to drive than I planned on, but I still think a 99+ would be fun to have again with a forged 402, big cam, 3400 stall and 3.90's or 4.10's

WTF are you talking about bank boy? I've only run it once since the mod, and it ran fine for the most part. Just had an issue while it was cold
