Default Want to rent gooseneck float trailer in central texas

I need a gooseneck trailer that is atleast 30' long and has a carrying capacity of 16K or more. It needs to be semi local to Austin.

have you tried calling trailer dealers? Thats a pretty big trailer and I would say most places wont have one like that to rent. Find a farmer. when I was up in texarkana no one even had a 20ft pull behind to rent. I am guessing your taking 2 jeeps to go 4 wheeling somewhere?

No, Ill be hauling 16K john deere 4wd backhoe out to the deer lease to do some road work since the rains washed a bunch of crap out. A friend of mine has a 48' float in Houston that ill be using in a couple months to haul 3 jeeps to some trails out in west texas. The ole dmax is going to be getting a workout over the next few months

And I've already called every trailer rental place in the phone book from waco to san antonio and there isn't anything. I may have worked out a deal to haul a load of round bails in exchange for the use of the trailer. A double stacked 40' trailer of round bails weighs almost 30K good thing they only have to be moved 15 miles, looks like Im going to need to go ahead and install my airbags

With that kind of weight, it might be a good idea to go ahead and throw a Transgo Jr in the tranny. It will thank you for it. They are cheap.

transgo jr is pretty easy and I would def make that a priority before hauling that load.
