Default The Walk of SHAME.....

Well today dlt76028(David) and I were finishing an intake swap on my truck.. Everything was going great, finished up a little before I had to go meet my GF, so we decided to take if for a spin... Well we drove around for a little bit and decided to make a small WOT run with the cutout open... After a 30-90 run, I let off and started to smell gas... So I pull over to check for some gas leaks... I pop the hood and apparently one of my injectors decided to turn into a lawn sprinkler... Spraying gas EVERYWHERE... So we were about a 1-2 miles from my house, and we had to WALK home to go get tools....

Anyways that was my Walk of SHAME story... Funny thing was David's truck broke one time in the exact same spot, that time my GF came and picked us up....

yeah we were lucky... I could just imagine that thing sparking and catching fire and blowing up... Kinda scary.... But we check for leaks before we took it out, i guess it just somethign happened when we got up to speed...

If you need an injector, I have one you can have.

16,000 miles on it.

I had to make a phone call one time when I took my bike out for a spin and the battery died on me. Called my wife who showed up laughing. That fuel spray could have been bad on the truck. Glad nothing else happened.

It's threads like this one that remind us to get fire extinguishers for our modded trucks.
