With a little planning they easily could have transplanted it to the Rio Grande River .

Now that should have cut down on the illegal migration just a tad!!

That would defenitely wouldnt stop immigration.... DONT YOU KNOW MEXICANS USE CROCS AND ALLIGATORS TO MAKE BELTS AND BOOTS ??? no ****** alligator is goin to stop no mexican... your dumb !!!

well, after living in central florida for most of my life, i could see a gator getting that big, but it would be rare. i rember going to "gator land" when i was young and they had "big dady", he was a 20' 3" gator that was something like 1/2 ton or so. they caught him in the ever glades down in dade county. and that thing could of easily taken out a deer, esp. a florida deer. as flordia deer are about the same size as a great dean. but as for them having to shoot it, i find that hard to belive cause they didnt have to kill big dady to capture him. just my .02 cents

Not really, the shadowing and perspective are both off in that third picture. The tow strap has shadow coming off the truck, but the gator doesn't. So either the gator is far enough away from the truck for the shadow to fall out of line of sight, or it's been stuck on that picture from another picture (or possibly removed from the picture, blown up, and then stuck back in the picture, but that doesn't account for the lack of shadow).

It's not Lake Conroe, and I don't think there's a single piece of clear water anywhere in or around Texas, at least not anywhere near Houston .
