From: White Bear Lake MN
This picture was taken by a KTBS helicopter flying over Lake Conroe !
(For those of you who are not local, Lake Conroe is about 50 miles north of Houston )

That has to be a HUGE gator to have a whole deer in its mouth!
Are you ready to go skiing on Lake Conroe ?!
If you ski at the west end of the lake -- try not to fall.

This alligator was found between Athens and Palestine , Texas near a house.
Game wardens were forced to shoot the alligator- guess he wouldn't cooperate ...
Anita and Charlie Rogers could hear the bellowing in the night.
Their neighbors had been telling them that they had seen a mammoth alligator in the waterway that runs behind their house, but they dismissed the stories as exaggerations .
'I didn't believe it,' Charles Rogers said. Friday they realized the stories were, if anything, understated .
Texas Parks and Wildlife game wardens had to shoot the beast. Joe Goff , 6'5' tall, a game warden with the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department, walks past a 23-foot, 1-inch alligator that he shot and killed in their back yard.

I think that the Texas Game and Wildlife wardens made a huge mistake when they shot this beast.
With a little planning they easily could have transplanted it to the Rio Grande River .
Now that should have cut down on the illegal migration just a tad!!
(((( Is this a true thing or just made up ))))) this was an e-mail i recived so i was just wondering if its true

i cant see the pics from this work computer, but i have seen a few gators down here that could take a deer off the banks. there are lots of 10-12 footers around here.... i have seen the occasional 13-14 foot alligator. i would think a 10 footer could get a deer in its mouth.

the first set of pictures i have seen along time ago.
the last picture is very familur, it looks like the gator that was on
display here at gator fest where i live.
it was placed on ice so everyone could see how big the largest gator cought
was during the gator season.
the very first year we had gator fest, the largest gator was on display
and from the tip of the nose to the tip of the tail was 17.8 feet.
they had a picture of the 3 guys that got it, and the14 foot boat they were in.

True and not true. The first pictures are real, but not in Conroe. I'm pretty sure that third one is photoshopped, almost to the point of being absolutely sure it's fake.
