I bought it right after high school owned it for nearly two years, paid it off and traded it for a mustang that I shouldn't have sold either. Oh well, I'd trade my 06' Silvy for that truck. It would mean that much to me.
Truck was a 95' 305/5-speed, 3.42's, one-wheel peeler, ran 10.3's@67mph in the 1/8th. Had cruise control, cd player, no muffler just catalac converter sounded real good. Just a awesome truck.
Nothing but the one that got away.

I had a '98 Sierra SL, 305, 5 speed, Forest Green, Gray interior, chrome wheels, and dual exhaust. I loved that truck. It had decent power, but the tranny was a POS!!! It only had 40k miles and I replaced the clutch, pressure plate, everything except the tranny. I traded it in on my '02 and only had 55k miles and the syncros (sp?) were bad, the input shaft was on it's last leg, and had a very hard time shifting in first and from second to third. Chevy's manual truck trannies are crap!!! I replaced 2 trannies in my 95' Sonoma w/ 130k miles, one under warranty on my '99 Sonoma and almost had to on the '98 Sierra. I bought my '02 and so far put 160k miles on it and NO problems at all!!! I only had to replace the brake pads, main belt, and belt tensioner.

I had a 2000 s-10 rcsb V6 with a 5spd when I first started collage. Man that truck was fun cause guys with "BIG BAD HEMI'S" couldn't understand how i was keeping up with them but that truck hauled for a v6. I wish I wouldn't of had to sell it but it was getting to be to small for me so I had to upgrade. I wanted to keep it so I could one day do an engine/tranny swap but that wasn't happening. Worst thing about was seeing the kid that bought it pass on the highway doggin the **** out of it and grindin gears and to top it all off he just totaled it not to long ago.
