Default truck got hailed on

i was going to a friends house tonight and it started hailing out of nowhere. from what i could see it was about quarter size, it took me about 5 minutes going <5mph to get to a gas station to get out of it. i didnt even get out to look at it, ill look at it tomorrow and see if i need to call the insurance company. damn Texas weather.

hope there was no damage, last time I got caught in a hail storm it was about that size too. luckily it didn't last very long b/c I was on a stretch of road with no where to seek shelter. I didn't take on any damage.

i was in arlington last night and golf ball size hail messed up my truck! dents all over hood and roof... i dont know if its enough damage to go with insurance though because i think i have a 500 deductable. maybe some kind of paintless repair would work?

maybe i can get a HD hood

Last time I got stuck in hail, I was down in Brownsville with my 01 Dodge Ram. **** was golf ball to softball size hail. My truck was stuck out in the open at the shipyard I was working at, lasted for about 10-15 minutes, the damn ground was covered with ice, looked like a warzone. Did about 6K worth of damage on my truck, there wasn't a body panel that wasn't damaged.

When my 01 got hailed on it was about $2,300.00 worth of damage just for the hood roof and bed rails.

if my insurance gave me that much after my $500 deductable i would buy all new front parts and change it to a 03-05 silv and use the rest of the money to get it painted.

Mine got damage monday night driving from walmart so I'm going to look into a custom hood, my gf's civic looks horrible. We had golfball to baseball sized hail and tornadoes just 10 miles south of my house.

Yeah, when my dodge got all that hail damage, they just cut me a check. I bought my own cowl hood and saved about 400 from the factory hood, bought roll pan fender flares and other extras and got it all painted for what I saved on factory parts. LOL.
