trouble in lumpkin Ga (pics)

Happened last thursday night. I couldn't make it up the slick clay hill. I backed straight off into a hole and that was it. Maybe due to the 4 banger, open diffs, allterrain tires, or all the beer. Definately gonna go with a solid front axle conversion, bigger tires, maybe a v8 swap. I was on the opposite side of 1000 acres of our hunting camp. Had to walk the whole way back at 3:00 am. I had to leave the truck in the creek overnight. By the next morning the water had gone down a little bit but it still to a F250 crew cab 4x4 to pull it out. As soon as it was out it cranked up, sputtered a little and then ran fine for about 4 hrs. Had to changed all the oil in the entire truck. Still not running right. I think I'm gonna have to pull the PCM and let it dry. Me and my buddy had a good laugh so I thought I'd share with everybody.

I've done that, but the cooler floated out the back of the bed, with the tail gate up. My front was high and dry, but the rear was under water.
You might have gotten some water in the fuel, is the filer anywhere on the frame rails?

how much gas you got in there? if it starts dying everytime you get down to a certain fuel level then that's a sure sign that you have "that much" water in the tank... don't ask me how I know

[QUOTE=Nick™]judging by some of those pictures the tank was under water, which means he probably did get some water in there.

The check engine light came on for a little bit after we got it running. The problem was that I was drinking all day and had gotten a " to hell with it " attitude. Maybe there is water in the gas. I'll drain the tank when I get the truck back. It's still at the camp. I've got to go up saturday and trailer it back.
