i think in july they were getting the new shop ship shape and ready to move into. not 100% on that tho. its just what i got out of some of the posts ive read.

yep....new motor. i ran across a deal i couldnt pass up. its a 99 LS1. got it for 450 intake to oilpan(truck oilpan) with injectors, coil packs, new plugs, wires, throttle body, EVERYTHING. this is the most complete longblock possible lol. hes also giving me a new cam to sell off and brand new 918's in the box. so i might actually make money from swapping motors

im planning 224/224 .581/.581 112lsa, 918's, hardened pushrods i really want to get a 13.5 run out of my stock 5.3 before the swap though so im not exactly sure when the swap will go down. i get the motor in 2 weeks hopefully though. its still in a camaro.

 

dang, thats probably one of the sweetest deals i have ever heard....you can hardly get injectors for 450, let alone an entire motor

 

oh and the intake on it is all brand new from a lq9 he bought to put in his camaro....brand new intake, brand new injectors, brand new throttle body, brand new plug wires...i just wish it had some updated heads on it....the only thing i dont like about it is its a 99 model ls1 so its got the 853 heads on it. i really want some 243's but i cant find any within my budget.

 

I went at the beginning/mid of August and he wasnt packed yet. He said it has been hell between keeping the shop going and working with contractors to get his new place built. Its gonna be worth it as soon as is up and running.

 

well i am still shooting for a sub 15 with my sig... it just wont do it.

 

Something is wrong. CHeck your O2 sensors and their readings. See if you cant get hooked up to some kind of logging software.

 

are you pushing the peddle all the way down? something has to be messed up
