Default Time for new tires on the motorcycle suggestions?

Since nobody responed on the SSU site like I figured Ill post it over here since I know grippy and a few others ride sport bikes and well, there isnt anywhere on this site to post something like this anymore it'll go here.

01 Honda F4i few things done to it and the rear tire is shot and the front tire has a sloooooowwww leak in it. Right now I have some continentals on it and on alot of surfaces the bike wont hook up till about 55 or so in first. I want some STICKY tires, tire life isnt that big a deal as this is a toy and is only riden maybe 6K a year. Anybody with some experience know of a good tire, cost really isnt a factor either just want to get the best bang for the buck.

Go here register, it's free, and ask away lots of info on there. I'm on there, it started out as a Suzuki site but now they don't care what you ride. Pretty good site but just watch the language...Zed

I've been running Pilot Roads on the back and Pilot Power's on the front of my bike the last 2 tire changes and have been VERY happy. That includes many trips to Arkansas, Texas Hill Country, Track days, etc.

I used to work for Cooper Tire and Cooper owns Avon. I read alot about them when Cooper acquired them. They are top notch tires for sure.

A friend of mine rides, he has a big cruiser now but has owned others...swears by Avons.
