Haha, i have a buddy that i grew up with who has a 1980ish Jeep CJ7. He can make a stock WS6 TA look bad. Didnt beat it but he would hang with that little AMC 304.

I have mastered atv's under water. Dont believe me and if you have an aim name I can send you the vids. I have had a 300 fourtrax, 500 rubicon, 500 sportsman, and artic cat 400 manual in the last 5 years and I can tell ALL have been under water, Ive sunk every bike but the artic cat. You just have to know what to do.

Oh and their is a way on the trail after gettin a swamped four wheeler out to drain all the water out.
1. Tump atv on back rack and let all possible water drain out of carb, untill straight gas is coming out then shut off peecock valve.
Let all water drain out of exhaust pipe, oh and before doing this pull air filter.
2. Pull spark plug. WITH THE SPARK PLUG OUT OF THE HOLE turn the motor over with the electric start OR pull start either one. THis will get ALL water out of cylinder, dont hold hte button down just keep bumping it till all the water is out.
3. Dry air filter back off. re assemble and should already be on flat on the ground now. Try starting it with or without choke.
4. LAST OF ALL check oil if it is milky I would not put it high in RPMS and limp it home or tow it home. IN anything but a honda I would change the oil on the trail, I have odn eit before on all mine and others four wheelers. Milky oil will make the motors smoke.

Oh and BTW 1slowz71 time for me to be an *** to you, Ive seen you make comments on here like why that is the expensive way just build it, jimmy rig it or w/e. WTF YOU BUY A TRIANGLE ATV SNORKLE KIT. you just paid 150+ for pvc pipe!!!!! MAKE YOUR OWN. Try like dual 2.5" flex hose(pool hose). Rejet carb hopefully open up exahust and weld an exhaust snorkle on. And if your like me you already have 28" outlaws on the atv so lets go hold our breath and test the silicone!!!!
Hehe I was new to the whole snorkel thing. We have since learned to use th eole blue/black pool hose from Home Depot. Yeah I did what you are atalkign abotu after sinking it I think some grit from the mud was still in there and got caught on the rings. I have di-electric grease on there too and after a while it starts missing again. I have 28" mud-lites on my bike. I play on the trails all the time you are preaching to the choir

I've got an 81' CJ5 with an AMC 304, it'll move out! I know my old man has lifted the front tires in it, but it's really light so it doesn't take much.

it hardly ever gets stuck. if someone rides it and kills it in gear then it might have to be rocked to switch to nuetral
