Default Suggestion on tires....please

Hey yall.

Looking to change out the treads on my '02 Silverado. I've been wearing Goodyear Eagle GT II's 275/60/17, and have been looking at Hankook RH06 Ventus ST 255/50/17. The average price that I've found the Hankook's is $85 per tire.

Anyone have any suggestions?

That 255/50 is gonna be a lot smaller than what you have now. If you're wanting a smaller size (like about 27") you'll be fine. How wide are your wheels? I've heard nothing but good things about the Hankooks; they'll most likely be my next tire.

Take General Grabber UHPs into consideration. I know Goshawk23 has them, My buddy got some on his QC Hemi and they hook very well!

Or the Toyo Proxes S/Ts i believe they have a 275/60/17?
I have 275/60/16 Toyos and i love them!

The Generals look better for around the same price and they hook up good wet or dry. I liked them but they seem to be hard to balance.
