I am going to try to post pics that I posted when I was in EMT class. They are of a guy who got bit by a brown recluse and had a very bad reaction to the toxin, and of course he waited till it was almost to late.

 

These pics are spread out over about 7 to 8 days!

 

yea my da got bit by one but had heard that they were bad and got to the er in time so it didnt do anything but they showed him pictures too not pretty

 

We've gotten a ton of them too on the Coast of GA. They are starting to appear everywhere.

 

oh hey, i caught one of those in a mason jar one time! had no clue it was such a badass! they get pretty big too.

 

I got bit by one on my arm driving from Tampa back to FSU. Didnt think it was anything until 5 hours later I had a hole developing in my arm and red streaks all the way up my arm into my arm pit. I got into the ER that night and had to have IV antibiotics and all kinds of crap. It actually left 2 scars on my arm in that little time. They are faint but definately visable if I point them out. This is only like 7-8 hours after the bite too!! Im scared to death of spiders now.
