I am cleaning up the 6.0 getting it ready to paint. Which color should I go with? Stock black, chevy orange or something else?

Paint the block gray and all the other attaching pieces black or vice versa. That should give you a good contrast. It should really make it pop without being over dominating.

Dont paint it at all. I used the dupilicolor and it is flaking off on my 418. If you are going to paint it you need to get it powder coated. I painted mine chevy orange. Looks good.

I painted the block on my old '81 with chevy orange - it looked good only when it was clean otherwise it looked horrible. I vote for black
