just turning the key off and on a couple times will get the fuel system primed... I real curious to what your fuel pressure is. If you make it a habit of running low on fuel and with the given symptoms I wouldn't be surprised if you killed a fuel pump. See if your local part store has a fuel pressure gauge that they loan out or a cheap one to buy

get a walbro 255 and call it a day. Much cheaper and can flow more fuel than the stocker.

Ok, been on ship for a couple weeks, brother got under the truck and I turned the key. he can hear it turn on. So I start thinkin and talkin with a buddy who just gradutated from UTI and he suggested my cam sensor maybe even something to do with the PCM... Well I changed out the cam sensor and it didnt do anything, but now it will start to crank but it's a slow crank and the nothing. Every couple of times it'll make a sound for a split second like its gonna turn over but oterwise it'll just crank till the batt dies. Maybe my starter? This sucks!
