have you ridden in one of the newer diesels? I went with BradS to Florida to get his '07, I was amazed with how quiet it was. You actually have to put you head down and listen to hear the difference between the new Duramax and a gasser... now when rolling on the interstate if you listened closely the only thing you could hear is the faint sound of the turbo whistling... easily handled by the radio.

Did you trim the plastic on your front bumper any? I'm running 265's with the t-bars cranked nearly all the way and the tires nearly touch the painted lower piece. 285's would probably tear it off, especially in any kind of mud. Got pics?

Nick is right the LBZ(06&07) trucks are alot quieter then the LLY(04.5-06.5) trucks. There are many differences but my truck is very quiet, since I modded the intake and went downpipe back with the corsa you can hear the turbo alot more but I like the sound of it. What are you talking about on the 250$ injectors? They are alot more expensive then that but the new dmaxs dont have any problems with them. This truck is well put together and all the bugs are worked out of it, I love it SO much more then my Z71. I just cant wait till this summer when I get my built trans in

Yea I trimmed the front plastics some. I need to do some finish work on it to make it look better but it dosent rub unless I go full turn to the left where I havent trimmed the back of the fender well yet.
