this is true, on the bright side though, he really wants the car back, only reason he sold it was cuz it costed so much money to fill it up back when gas a $4 bucks a gallon. cars not crashed, he lives literally about 2 miles away from the guy he sold it to

I was in the same situation once. When I sold the car I had the buyer sign the agreement to pay a certain ammount every month and when they didn't i sent them a certified letter they were in default giving them the opportunity to pay up. Then I just took the car. I was lucky I had the documentation though because she had gottn a bunch of parking tickets that came back to me but I had proof the car was not in my posession at the time of the tickets. I got the car back and kept what little money I had gotten in payments and they never disputed it.

Yeah, I wouldn't worry, or think too much, about anything legal since nothing was done legally anyway, just go get the car.
Problem will be, if the current 'owner' decides he wants to f' with your friends car after he gets it back. Not a good situation for anyone....

Attorney would probably say the same as Bill said. I'd consult with one just in case. Purpose would be b/c you wanted to be sure, and then have proof of legal consultation should bum buyer decides to challenge legally (which would be a poor shot). Local police escort would also be nice too.

i say go take it back and hide it from the "buyer", if he still wants it tell him to pay the remaining amount upfront, if not he's out the car and his money just consider the paid money "rent"

I say go over there late at night and to make sure he's . Then hop in the car and . If he comes out then Once you get home safely, you and a buddy .

Sorry this is such a gay response i just realized there are more icons to choose from and i wanted to take advantage of it. I know...pretty corny.

About 20 years ago in Texas, I loaned my wifes car to a friend for a week. He never brought it back, then said he no longer had it, it was out of state. Called the police and they said if you gave him the keys, it is a civil case, there was nothing they could do, it was not stolen. I called my exfriend and told him I would give him 5 days and I would be over to break every bone in his body, starting with his jaw. It showed up at my house in the middle of the night on the fourth day, minus radio with different wheels and tires. Never saw him again. Good luck on your repo.
