SO has anyone been to the the track lately?

 

Have not been since the spring f-body shootout. May go sunday. They are having an import vs domestic shootout. Won't be participating just spectating if I go.

 

which track you guys go to??

Sounds like fun! I plan to go in October when I get back from my deployment!

 

that was the last time I was there too. Probably next time I go will be for the fall shootout.

 

I'll be up there with quick, my girlfriend, and possibly cablebandit tomrrow (sunday) for the Import vs Domestic thing... i'll be running again... probably mid to low 14's tho.. it'll be hot and im still on the stock torque converter

but i'll be back there again probably for the fbody shootout again and than once again for the end of the season

 

SSlow, how was the Import VS Domestic shootout? Got any pics?

it sucked... more than 80% of the ricers were... uhhh ricers

and 2 of them were in the 11's... big deal and 1 in the 10's.

there were a few GTO ppl and vette ppl that showed up late, they ran pretty strong... nothing outragous tho, except for the black z1100 vette (procharged with 200 shot), he was running 1/8th and let out after, i never got to talk to him when we left, so idk what he should really be running.

 

The vette trapped a 144 mph, but only ran high 11s. He was spinning most of the way down the track.
