Will a vortec 305 head fit and work properly on a vortec 350? Got a buddy with the motor and those heads, and wondering if it will work. Thanks

 

ive heard about some people doing it... however the 305 has smaller runners, valves, and chambers and the difference is the 1.84 intake valve which can be easily converterd to 1.94 however, the combustion chambers are still slightly smaller than that of the 350 so im sure its not exactly the same performance wise.

 

They will work but like sslow said they are different in that aspect..
