Default Post your HRP results here!!

well I did ok... I had some brand new hoosier's but for some reason they werent doing their job...?

first run I did one mean *** burnout and I mean a BIG burnout, I had rubber all over the side of my truck including the hood and the top of the cab!!!

and i got a whoopin 13.7 with a 2.4 60ft

then the next 2 runs I managed a 12.8 @ 104 with 1.8x 60ft, still not good!!

then the 4th run I ran a 12.77 @ 104 with a 1.77 60ft....

all the above runs were spinning the tires??

and then the last run was the more decent one... and this one actually hooked?

1.75 60ft
7.988 1/8
85.75mph
12.63 1/4
105.6mph

so I got my mph back but still the 60ft just aint cutting it!! on my last run the temp was 68F and 85%humidity and that was about 10:40pm...

oh, and my **** is still overheating, when I would do the burnout my temp would jump to 210F and then when I crossed the traps my temp would be 220F? wtf? Im tired of messing with this ****.!! maybe that is an issue on the 60ft? maybe its pulling timing with that temp that high?

I guess I cant really compare times cause when I used to run the 12.5's in was in real perfect weather... but that was my goal for tonight to atleast manage a 12.6x, I dont know I still think that if I can get my 60ft back I can manage a 12.4 this season...

by the way HRP was packed and a whole lot of people showed up, so I'll let them post up there times. and I believe quite few of them broke some records... and stewart is one of them, his truck is running damn good...

Nice times...get those tires in a grove and the overheating issue fixed and you'll be where you need to be.

i agree on the hight temps would be causing the engine to pull timing. but if it were doing that then i don't see how you were still spinning when you said you were. and i was just about to look into getting some tires like that

stew, it might have been a bad valve stem on the rim.
same thing happened to my friend when he went to the track to test out a brand new set of e/t streets.

It was a hell of a turnout last night. Good Times.

AP was really doing some serious burnouts out there, I can't believe that he was still spinning, but he was.

Did Charlie ever get to make a run, he was still in the staging lanes when I had to leave.

yeah kind of weird huh? on the 12.8 & 12.7 run I could feel it spin then it'll just grab like a **** and you could actually feel it just jump out quick? dont get me wrong I still have faith on these tires, they are the exact same what i had before so I know the potential is there, they were quite a few of people having spinning issues too, so it might of been the track?
