I'm going to set up a little weekend get away for me and the little lady soon, I'm thinking of just loading up on a friday night and taking her up to OKC and spending the night, maybe hitting a bar or two or something. Problem is, I don't know anything about OKC, never been there so I need help with whats there, whats fun to do, etc... She likes to drink and country dance, help me out here guys!

 

Might try the Central Section instead of Southern. Are you looking for dinner, etc.? How much are you looking to spend?

 

Bricktown, look it up. Alot of different bars, country bar would be Toby Keiths "I Love This Bar"

 

i figured on stayin at the sheraton down by the river... i've heard from several people that OKC has picked up and actually has a night life now...

Bricktown is a pretty nice place to go. Lots of places to eat, and bars to hit alot the river walk.

 

Check out the Wormy Dog Saloon I'd go there to hang out before wasting time at Toby Kieth's. Toby's has good food, but it's too much all about him for me. The Wormy Dog has a bunch of regular good bands and red dirt music. It is also in Bricktown.

I would also check out Bricktown Brewery if you like an nice selection of good beers, that's just me though I'm all about the beer.
