you atleast need the tranny cooler, dont really need the shift kit to play with it...

Well, you should be fine running it without the cooler, OEM trailblazer stall shouldn't produce much more heat than the stock unit, should pretty much just be a restalled version of the stock verter anyways. I'm not positive though so don't quote me on that fact. However, I would definitely get a tranny cooler a soon as you can, and definitely before you do any major racing in it. IE: no taking it to the track and running it 2 or 3 or 4 times in a row. Have you decided on what cooler to use? Might be a little bit overkill, but..... I would just go from none to huge and use the one that Cody has on his truck, cause it is my opinion that you can never get your tranny cool enough. I was running a dual cooler setup on mine after the cam install and there were a few times where my tranny was getting hot. Especially during the Hurricane evacuation, it got really, really hot. I had the stock cooler and a small B&M unit, IMO the B&M's are not the most effecient units.

Tru-cool makes it, its a 40,000GCVW unit. Not sure on the part number but I found it on bulkpart.com
