Best I could muster was an 11.8 at 123 with a 2.4 60ft. It would either come up and do a wheelie or bog as soon as I let out on the clutch after babying it out of the hole. Raced a 100 shot Z06 and hung with him the whole way ended up being a .04 diff in times and he had a mph on me. I was shifting good just need to get my 60 down. Im not even sure what it "should" run with a good rider.
01 Honda F4i akrapovic full length exhaust, power commander evrything else stock.
I think its running a little rich down low too, it seems to bog a bit but not as bad since it has gotten cooler outside. Need to retune it but it will have to wait till the truck isup and running.
Allen Nelsons 5psi sts avalanche hit a 13.6 with just a 212/216 cam not bad for a 6000K truck, and everyone says the sts kits are just dyno queens

man you ran a 11.8 on a slighty modded F4i? IIRC they usually can run a low 11 with a good driver..
If you plan on drag racing it the right way, you better go ahead and order a few extra Clutchs..... Red line that motha and slip the clutch off the line hard... my cousin used to race a ZX9R, he said the best you can do is drive it with the clutch... im not dumb enough to try and lauch one, i just like cruising.

The best way that I found to launch a 600 (04 R6), was to rev it up to around 7k and let the clutch out as fast as you can while rolling on the throttle. You should be full throttle by the first 60'. I usually get around 1.7 60'.
Once you strap the front end down you can go full throttle off the launch..

The problem was when I tried to launch it hard at ~8k and slip the clutch it would smoke it pretty good and the shifts the rest of the track would be "greasy". It has the stock clutch in it. Im not big into drag racing the bike since even if I fo set it up right it will still be slow. I use the truck for drag racing.

Practice practice practice, and tying the front end down. But yeah don't get too into racing the bikes and then wanna stretch it and stuff because it takes the fun out of riding. I sold my liter bike a couple months ago because it was way more than i needed, i'm looking into gettin a Vmax now.
