What’s the average weight of a 5.3l regular cab short bed, NBS? I finally remembered to get on the scale at the track and mine came in at 4550 w/ the tail gate off and me in it (238lbs as of yesterday). Is that the norm for these trucks?

 

Sounds about right, how much fuel was in it?

 

Mine tips in at around 5100 for a 4wd excab full street trim and 1/4 tank of gas.

I had a smidge less than half a tank at the time of weigh in.

 

In full street trim and a 1/4 tank of gas, i was at 4575 with me in it. 165# for my *** then. I have since gained some beer weight.

 

i think i weighed in at about 4500 with my truck, about a 1/4 tank, still had spare and tailgate on

 

4550 here as well everything on it from the factory with 1/2 tank or better of gas.

 

and what was your weight at the track the last time I saw you there? and what all did you take out to get it there????
