Well i finally broke down and got me a digital camera, and took some pics of my new toy. Its a 10.5 Outlaw 1975 Camaro, its got a 509 bbc, with completely stock LS6 heads, runs on pump gas. Its went a best of 9.82@133 on motor on pump gas with a 1.39 60ft Im looking forward to spraying it in a couple of weeks, its a hell of a ride

nice ride

did i miss something or is it some terminology that i dont know of ( dont know a whole lot about gen1 s)but you have some gen3 small block heads on an gen1 big block

Thanks, i might bring the car but ive got the motor out of the truck and for sale im gonna put a 408 in it so it will be a while before its running again.

On old school big blocks the LS6 was a performance upgrade, kinda like with LS1's. They called them LS6's but it was an old school big block with big rectangle port heads, high compression, and solift cam. Enough history lesson for today

now that i think about it i remember the '70 chevelle 454ss had an RPO code of LS6 for that engine
