Ok so I ran my tuck friday night. Serious traction problems with the 6.0 installed and crappy rear end.

Ran a best of 9.39 @ 79.8, 2.37 60'

so...I cracked it open saturday and welded the rear up to make it posi until I swap a locker in real soon.

Ran it Yesterday, they actually prepped the track.

Ran a PB of 9.13 @ 80, 2.27 60'
Every run was getting quicker but I got some nasty wheel hop and dropped some dirt from the previous owner, I didnt wanna **** them off by running again so I called it quits. But im happy with the 9.13 @ 80 for now.


Truck : 2001 Silverado ECSB, Stock 4L60E, Stock converter, Shittier than stock tires, welded rear, stock 3.42 gears.

Mods : 2001 LQ4 99,000 miles, Z28 fans, CAI, OBX Long tubes, 3" O/R Y, 3" Race Bullet, Tuned by a friend with HP Tuners.

Total cost of swap about $1,600 including tune. and I had to replace it anyways...awesome.

thats actually really fast for lack of mods, especially an ecsb

Yea some of my buddies where there friday night one in a mid 90's tan RCSB, and another in a 08 Powerstroke that Ive been helping him mod. I asked them if they saw a flat black ECSB running down there and they said you where but you where spinning till bout half track.

Glad to hear your truck is running good for no more mods than you have.... One of them saw your shirt you had on Fri. night said he went around Fist Pumping the rest of the night hahaa

 

I've got a lil tr220 that you could chunk in that thing for cheap. Let me know if intrested.
