In need of someone to do a tranny instal!!!
#1
Basically i was goin to have plenty of time to instal my flt trans but work took a turn and now i'm booked solid for over a month including weekends.
So i'm just trying to see if anyone would be interested/have the time to do a tranny removal, pull the stall from it...bolt the stall to the flt and install the new trans with converter on it for a fee of course.
If anyone thinks they have the time/would want to do this please post up.
I need the new trans in and Vince needs his core return.
I was thinking along the lines of 200-250ish to do the job i guess just let me know if this sounds like something anyone here can get done for me.
Thanks guys,
Joe

Either Matt or Ron and I could handle the job... not this weekend, probably next, wouldn't take but a couple hours, of course you know all three of us have a tad bit of experience with transmission removal / replacement

Hey Joe... check with Nick about 12-pak Tuning & Performance Shop rental. There may be a good rate for ya.
Seriously, I'd help ya tow to my house, but I already have a "work in progress" parked in a reserved space.
For your truck, it should only be 3 hours tops (start to finish). If there's room at the 12-pak garage, I may be able to steal away one evening to assist with an R&R. A test drive will prove functionality. I'm sure Vince would want a "trusted" tester to break it in like it was stolen.
It all depends on how the wifey feels. She was in surgery last night, and is now home recovering. She should be back to normal in a week or so. We'll see. I'm the live-in home health care pro right now.
