I just came back from Myrtle beach today. Just my luck i was there during the friggin high school spring break. place was nutso. high school kids EVERYWHERE.

but on a good note the weather was un friggin real and i swear to god everyone has an exhaust system and rims out there. wow. I saw some kick *** trucks/suvs on ocean blvd.

I went to a steak house over near Margaritaville that had some damn good microbrews. I also really liked Tbonz. Lots and lots of good restaurants. Not sure what the f is up with all the beachwear stores and pancake houses though, lol.

Oh and use caution when you are told to go to "17". there's 17th st, Highway 17, and business 17. 3 different streets all called "17".

Have fun!! Not sure if you golf but clearly that's what's happenin in Myrtle beach. Lots of golf. I passed by no less than 3 strip clubs too but wifey wouldn't let me go in, lol.

When you go, try to find 69th street. I went a few years ago and I noticed the streets go from 68th to 70th They must of known dumbasses like me were gonna go "looking for it."

There's putt putt golf everywhere you look and if someone suggests going to Midevil Times tell them to cause it sucks, trust me. Other then that its way nice there and the weather and scenery is pretty damn nice.

yeah, i was going to see if he was coming with family. if so, i would avoid medieval times unless he has children that would be interested in it. dixie stampede isnt anything great either but their food is good!

i'm from upstate sc but i lived for about a year (after i graduated college) in N Myrtle. It was a fun year but when I moved back to the upstate, I was ready. If you and your wife get away for a dinner and want a great experience I suggest trying Joe's Bar & Grill. Before you get any impressions from the name check out their site; www.dinejoes.com It's off the main road, on a saltwater marsh. It's just a great experience, my wife and I had a great time and a GREAT meal.

On another note, I am a big fan of Thee Dollhouse especially the 6-2 blond that use to "hang out" there

There's also a cool Tiki Bar under the bridge where Hwy9 & 17 (i think) meet. It's where more locals hang out (or was when I lived there) so it's not easy to find- but well worth it when you do. Great appetizers and really nice view of the inlet. We would watch the boats while getting tanked. lol
